A true nightmare...

Yesterday, I laid down for a minute on my bed and suddenly got very sleepy.  Next thing I knew, I was sound asleep and having a dream.  I don't remember anything prior to being in a restaurant where I was standing in line.  Suddenly, there was Donald Trump.  He was sitting in a chair in a garment that somehow exposed his genitals.

I happened to see the sight, then turned away shocked, embarrassed, and horrified.

Suddenly, there was Trump again, flashing his privates at me in living color.  I was, of course, disgusted... and yet, my response was to laugh.  I couldn't help but see how tiny they were.  At that point, I woke up.

I guess I was still tired from our trip to and from Ireland.  I don't know where that dream came from, though.  It was definitely odd.  I posted about it on Facebook and my friends confirmed that I'd had a nightmare.

I have actually been "flashed" more than a couple of times.  Most of the times it's happened, I was in Armenia.  I can assure my readers that I wasn't amused or impressed by the men who did this in my presence.  All of them seemed to have a mental illness of some sort.  My reaction was never laughter, either.  Instead it was shock, disgust, and on one memorable occasion, fear.  I happened to be alone at that time and the guy wasn't content to expose himself.  He was also screaming at me, seemingly enraged that I didn't stop and gawk at him.  I remember him shouting, "Du ches lisum?"  ("You don't listen?" in Armenian.)

One of my friends said of my Trump nightmare that Trump had basically fellated Putin on TV the other day.  I missed that, since I was on a plane all day.  I'm glad I didn't see it because I fear it would have made my nightmare even worse.

I'm considering taking another nap.  Hopefully 45 will stay out of my dreams.

  1. We all have the same hope for all of us. We don't need the nightmares to follow us in our sleep, too.

    1. Yeah... I probably need to start reading more books instead of the news.

  2. I'm surprisd he hasn't invaded my dreams yet. Roney did when he ran. Any dream featuring Trump is truly a nightmare.
